Rhythmic Development Program Championships

U.S. athletes will once again be in Florida for Development Program action as the 2024 Rhythmic Development Program Championships get under way June 1-2 in West Palm Beach at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

The championships serve as the seasonal conclusion for Level 6, 7 and 8 gymnasts as well as the beginner, intermediate and advanced Development Program groups. Nearly 300 rhythmic athletes will compete for individual, group and regional team titles.

The top 12 all-around gymnasts and apparatus winners, top three regional teams, and top three groups will win awards. Regional Team scores will be determined by individual all-around scores from team members.

Competition in Florida will span two days, with individual and group action beginning Saturday, June 1. Full schedules and all information about the 2024 Rhythmic Development Program Championships can be found on the event website.


Acro Rzeszow World Cup

Acrobatic athletes gear up for their third World Cup of the season, aiming for medals at the 2024 Rzeszow World Cup May 31-June 2 in Rzeszow, Poland.

The women’s group of Mariam Tutberidze (Owings Mills, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer), Grace Vonder Haar (Laurel, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer) and Kayla Vonder Haar (Laurel, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer) hope to go three-for-three after winning all-around bronze at the past two World Cups.

In pairs competition, the women’s duo of Mo Arthur (Rolla, Mo./Mid America Acro Tumbling) and Ariana Katsov (Owensville, Mo./Mid America Acro Tumbling) aim for their second podium of the season, while Molly Fox (San Diego, Calif./So Cal TTC) and Katie Borcherding (Eureka, Mo./Incentive – AGT) also look for a medal in Poland.

The event begins Friday, May 31 will Day 1 of qualifications at 10 a.m. ET followed by the second round of qualifications on Saturday at the same time. All finals are slated for Sunday, June 2 at 8 a.m. ET. Complete information about the competition can be found on the event website and live scoring is expected to be available here.
