‘Welcome to Memphis’ to host hospitality job fair at Overton Park

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Welcome to Memphis (WTM) will hold a hospitality-focused job fair at the Overton Park Shell.

The job fair will be held on Friday, June 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Overton Shell Park, located at 1928 Poplar Avenue.

Job searchers and creators are invited, and the event is free for everyone.

Employers in the hospitality industry will be able to meet, interview, and recruit candidates under the tree-shaded terraces overlooking the Shell.

Participating companies include:

• The Memphian
• The Memphis Zoo
• A Tour of Possibilities
• Holiday Inn – University of Memphis
• Central Station Hotel, Elvis Presley Enterprises
• Hyatt Hotels
• Old Dominick Distillery
• Stax Museum
• Delaware North at Autozone Park

Everyone attending is invited to remain after the career fair for a free concert starring Lamont Landers.

In addition, WTM invites job creators to a reception with drinks provided by Old Dominick and light snacks throughout the show.

Those who network at the event will have access to additional information and training opportunities.
