Westwood Heights Hamady shows out in Flint fashion for prom at Sloan Museum of Discovery

FLINT, MI — High fashion was on full display ahead of Westwood Heights Hamady prom.

About 117 Hamady students and guests showed off their finest attire to start their 2024 prom off in style on Saturday, May 11.

Beautiful dresses. Dapper suits. Some couples matched, and others showed off interesting bling and accessories that shined bright.

The students arrived outside of the Sloan Museum of Discovery showing off their fits in front of family and friends who were eager to snap pictures with their cell phones to capture the moment — some solo pictures, some of couples and, of course, group pictures of longtime friends.

This year’s prom theme was “MET Gala.” Jakobie Boose was crowned prom king while Amari Stewart was named queen.

Freelance photojournalist Anthony Summers covered the event for MLive.
