Wet‘n’Wild Hawaii offering special deals for Veterans Day weekend
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Servicemembers on Oahu are being thanked by the community this weekend and Monday for Veterans Day.
A number of business across the island are offering free meals and discounts for the men and women who serve our country.
In Kapolei, the state’s only water park Wet’n’Wild Hawaii is welcoming veterans and their families to the park this weekend for special activities and deals on admission.
“It’s three day weekend and we invite everyone to come and celebrate Veterans Day. All service members get in at 50% off, not only all weekend, but all through the month of November. Then on Monday, all U.S. veteran, U.S. active duty, reservist and DoD get in for just $11.11,” said Wet’n’Wild Hawaii Marketing Director Eddie Galdones.
The park is also hosting special entertainment over the long weekend including a showing of “Despicable Me 4″ on the big screen in the wave pool at 12 p.m. on Saturday with another showing at 5:00 p.m.
The park will also have extended hours that day from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
