WFSD Welcomes Back the World-Famous Harlem Wizards

Tangier Smith Elementary School and John S. Hobart Elementary School faculty and staff participated in a fun charity game against the world-famous Harlem Wizards! They are pictured with Kopa, the therapy dog, who served as an honorary referee!

The world-famous Harlem Wizards recently returned to William Floyd as they faced off against the faculty and staff from John S. Hobart Elementary School and Tangier Smith Elementary School in a friendly game of basketball!

The fun-filled evening included the Wizards dazzling the crowd with their basketball skills, a “Wiz-Kids” warm-up, comedy, contests, raffles, slam dunks, autographs and more! The night capped off with the “Wiz-Kids” participating in the Wizards’ signature dance party!

Thank you to the Harlem Wizards for once again visiting William Floyd and thank you to all who attended! Special thanks to the Hobart and Tangier Smith PTOs for all of their hard work on this event!
