It turns out the top job in Colorado is also among one of the lowest-paid jobs.

The latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics allows anyone to dig into the numbers to see everything from the number of jobs and how much they pay, to how they are trending and what the top fields are.

In the U.S., the top job is home health and personal care aides. In Colorado, that job ranks just out of the top 10 at No. 11.

After that, Colorado looks a lot like the national picture, where retail salespersons is the No. 2 most common job, followed by fast food and counter workers.

Colorado is estimated to have about 30 of these jobs, making them the least common in the state:
