What small businesses in Erie County are offering for Small Business Saturday
Somerset stores are preparing for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday
Shoppers are gearing up for some great Black Friday and Small Business Saturday specials in Somerset.
Erie is a city filled with small businesses who will be partaking in Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30.
“Small Business Saturday is one of the many days of the year where we can celebrate local small businesses that are owned and operated by people in our communities,” said Kyle Churman, owner of Werner Books. “This gives us a great opportunity during the holiday season to give back to the places that give back to their communities. We’ve had some of the best sales days ever on Small Business Saturdays and we’re hoping this year is the same.”
The Small Business Administration states that Small Business Saturday was started by American Express in 2010 and was officially cosponsored by the Small Business Association in 2011.
Last year, the Small Business Administration reported that Americans spent an estimated $201 billion during Small Business Saturday.
We’ve scoured social media and the internet to find a list of local events for Small Business Saturday. If you are a small business owner who doesn’t see your event posted on this list and would like to be included, please email nsorensen@gannett.com with details.
