What the Green Bay Packers wore into the home of the Lions ahead of Thursday night’s game. Hint: Not a Detroit Sucks sweatshirt
The Green Bay Packers were giving off more “Men in Black” than green and gold with some of the outfits they were sporting when they arrived to Detroit’s Ford Field Thursday.
The team even captioned their Instagram post with a handful of the photos: “Back in black.” Group chat convo or coincidence?
Multiple commenters noted that the team looked like they were heading to the Lions‘ funeral. Time will tell if that’s the case.
Speaking of time, game time is at 7:15 p.m. (Here’s how to watch it and where to find live updates).
Back to the fashion, quarterback Jordan Love donned a black Fear of God Essentials crewneck with black sweatpants, a black beanie and a black Damier checkerboard Louis Vuitton duffle.
Rashan Gary layered up, wearing a black Balenciaga jacket over a black Nike hoodie and black joggers. Showing off that football strength, he carried his black backpack in one hand and his black Goyard carry-on suitcase in the other. He finished off the look with a black beanie and a custom chain of his initials.
Devonte Wyatt wore a matching Saint Vanity set with silver studded accents down the arms and legs. He finished off the look with a black backward cap, a Goyard crossbody, a black Louis Vuitton duffle and some ice.
Sean Rhyan looked absolutely fire. No literally, there were bright red flames on his beanie. He wore a black Heron Preston mock neck tee with a white long-sleeve underneath. That matched his black pants with white stitching and his black and white MCM Worldwide backpack. His suitcase? Also black.
And, we need some commotion for Xavier McKinney’s black and white patterned fleece jacket — a need not a want.
Other players opted for more vibrant and colorful ensembles today. The full arrival gallery can be found here.
Notice how no one wore a hoodie that says “Detroit Sucks”? Very demure, very mindful. Looking at you, Amon-Ra St. Brown.
