Whataburger opens in Jacksonville, boosting city’s vibrant business scene
Jacksonville, Ark. — The City of Jacksonville welcomed a new addition to its growing business community on Monday, beginning with a ribbon cutting held at 1815 N. 1st Street.
Whataburger, a fast-food restaurant will feature drive-thru, and dining room features.
“Jacksonville is a rapidly growing community, and we are excited to be part of the energy that makes this a community people flock to,” Operating Partner Brittany Duke said.
“We look forward to introducing the bold, fresh flavors of Whataburger to Jacksonville at our newest location at 1815 N. 1st Street.”
According to a release, online ordering through the Whataburger app and Whataburger.com will be available for curbside pickup and delivery in the next few weeks.
The first customer in the drive-thru lane and the first customer in the dining room received a gift basket from the fast-food chain.
“We’re here celebrating the grand opening ribbon cutting for Jacksonville’s newest restaurant business, Whataburger,” said the Mayor of Jacksonville.
“It’s a big win for us, always looking for new businesses to come here to looking for quality, and we know Whataburger brings such a great product and name and reputation with them. We’re thrilled to have them here.”
“Our citizens have looked forward to this opening for some time now.”
The new fast food stop will be open 24/7, every day except for Christmas, according to a release. Breakfast is served from 11 p.m. until 11 a.m.
