STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Get ready for two full days of epic deals and the best savings that Amazon has to offer during Amazon Prime Day next month.

Amazon recently announced that Prime Day will be held from July 16 to July 17 this year — allowing Prime members to get exclusive access to the retailer’s lowest prices on select products from a variety of brands.

New deals will drop as often as every five minutes during select periods throughout the event, so members can come back and shop often to find what they want. Invite-only deals are also back this year, which means Prime members can request an invitation to exclusive deals that are expected to sell out.

Like in years past, the shopping event will last for 48 hours — giving consumers plenty of time to score big on deals.

On the East Coast, Prime Day kicks off on July 16 at 3 a.m. and runs through 2:59 a.m. on July 18 for Prime members in the United States.

“Prime Day is a celebration of the value we bring to members all year long, and features millions of deals across more than 35 product categories as well as discounts on Amazon devices, quality entertainment, groceries, travel, and more during the event,” said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime. “In fact, over the course of last year, Amazon customers saved nearly $24 billion from deals and coupons—with Prime members enjoying the vast majority of those savings—including over $2.5 billion during Prime Day 2023.”

Like years prior, consumers need to be a Prime member to cash in on the savings. If you’re not a Prime member yet, anyone can join and start a 30-day free trial at amazon.com/primeday to participate in Prime Day, get access to fast and free shipping, and enjoy entertainment benefits, like Prime Video, Prime Music and more.

Prime members pay an annual membership rate of $139 per year, or $14.99 per month. Prime student members pay $69 per year, or $7.49 per month. EBT and Medicaid recipients can snag a monthly rate of $6.99.

And Prime members don’t have to wait to shop.
