Which balaclavas to wear this winter ?
Along with scarves and gloves, a ribbed wool or cashmere balaclava is a must-have to stay warm in winter. From Chanel to Paloma Wool, Marine Serre and Moncler, Numéro has selected the 15 hottest knitted pieces for this season.
The balaclavas: a timeless, popular accessory
As the years go by, the balaclava remains the ultimate fashion accessory and often stands as a bold addition to any outfit. Chloé Sevigny wore it on a family stroll through the streets of New York, while supermodel Cara Delevingne celebrated it paired with a sparkling outfit by Stella McCartney at the 2024 Met Gala and actress Diane Kruger sported a daring bright orange version at a COS show last year.
Covering the lower part of the neck, some designs go for simplicity and sobriety, such as labels Lemaire, The Row and Simone Rocha. Yet, the latter allows a little, sparkling touch with crystals embroidered on the balaclavas of its Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collection.
