Whiskey Festival returns to Des Moines this weekend at the Horizon Events Center

Whiskey lovers, this is your weekend!

The Des Moines Whiskey Festival returns to the Horizon Event Center in Clive on October 26.

Patrons will have the chance to experience whiskeys from across the Midwest. The festival includes tasting booths, live music, food trucks, and more. Patrons can even learn more about whiskey during masterclasses.

In all, the festival will feature 24 different whiskey vendors. If you’re looking for something other than whiskey, the festival will also have three bars to choose from in the general admission area. Patrons can also purchase cigars, souvenirs and other merchandise.

General admission tickets are $80, but VIP tickets are also available. The VIP experience allows patrons to enter the festival through a private entrance one hour earlier than general admission patrons, access to private bathrooms and a private lounge, a commemorative VIP glass, admission to the VIP after party and more.

If you want to attend the festival and have no plans to drink, the festival is also selling Designated Driver tickets for $25.

Tickets can be purchased at the Horizon Events Center, but you can buy your tickets at the festival’s website as well.

The festival begins at noon and will end at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
