Sam Rubin, a veteran entertainment reporter for KTLA news station in Los Angeles, passed away at 64, as reported by TMZ. He died on Friday after being rushed to an L.A. hospital. According to reports, he suffered a heart attack at home, leading to full cardiac arrest. He leaves behind his wife, Leslie, and four children.

Sam Rubin Career –

Rubin graduated from Occidental College and joined KTLA in 1991, where he covered entertainment, movie, and TV news. He hosted his own show, “Hollywood Uncensored with Sam Rubin,” which aired over 100 episodes. He was also a founding member of the Broadcast Film Critics’ Association.

Sam Rubin Awards –

Rubin was a recipient of several awards, including the Golden Mike and a lifetime achievement honor from the Southern California Broadcasters Association. He also received multiple Emmys and was recognized as the best entertainment reporter by the Los Angeles Press Club.
