A self proclaimed fitness expert has explained why male Olympic gymnasts always wear tight outfits when in competition mode – and the reason will shock you.
It comes as French pole vault star Anthony Ammirati became a global sensation when he failed to reach his target height at the Games after his manhood caught the bar at the worst possible time.
US based fitness identity Kody Karma highlighted in a video how a man’s appendage can be a hindrance for professional athletes.
Karma’s clip didn’t leave much to the imagination as he backflipped while shirtless and dressed in a pair of loose shorts to illustrate how a man’s genitalia react during an acrobatic movement
The clip has been a hit with his 37,000 followers on Instagram, and he also posted a similar piece of footage on TikTok.
He titled his TikTok video ‘this is why gymnasts wear tight clothes’ and it didn’t take long for thirsty comments to follow – from men and women – on both social media platforms.
‘I don’t know how you guys walk around with those things,’ one joked on TikTok.
Another posted in response: ‘My jaw is to the floor.’

Croatian gymnastics star Tin Srbic left nothing to chance when he competed in the men’s horizontal bar final
Ammirati, 21, quickly became a talking point in Paris – but for all the wrong reasons.
He looked set to clear 5.70m in the pole vault heats until a sensitive part of his body denied him during his third attempt.
It sent the young gun packing from the event – and viewers were in hysterics on social media.
‘Anthony Ammirati failed the bar and the commentators are already having a hard time acknowledging what happened. ‘Help I’m dying,’ a user on X posted.
‘Unlucky, but also good flex,’ another pointed out.
‘The best way to lose… man ego still there,’ a third said.
