More than six years after finalizing their divorce, former Flip or Flop hosts Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall are reuniting for a new HGTV series.

Warner Bros. Discovery announced on May 15 during their Upfront presentation to advertisers that El Moussa and Hall will go head-to-head in a new series titled The Flip Off. The series promises to showcase their flipping skills in a competitive format.

“Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall built a home-flipping empire and top HGTV series with Flip or Flop. But it all came crashing down after their much-publicized divorce,” reads the official synopsis. “Now, the exes are back — along with their new spouses — for a throw down competition to see who can find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain, and the chance at bragging rights.”

The new series brings the former couple back together in a professional setting, adding an exciting twist to their typical home renovations. With a focus on financial gain and bragging rights, The Flip Off aims to deliver high-stakes drama and impressive renovations. The show is set to premiere in early 2025 with an apparent “super-sized premiere.”

El Moussa, 42, and Hall, 40, announced their separation in December 2016, and their divorce was finalized in January 2018, ending their nine-year marriage. Despite initial assurances that Flip or Flop would continue as scheduled, complications from their split ultimately led to the show’s end after a successful 10-season run in March 2022.

Since their divorce, both El Moussa and Hall have moved on both in their personal and professional lives. El Moussa married former Playboy Playmate and real estate agent Heather Rae Young, with whom he co-hosts The Flipping El Moussas with. Heather Rae Young also stars in Netflix‘s Selling Sunset. Meanwhile, Hall has been married to realtor Joshua Hall since April 2022.
