Williamson County drug house “closed for business,” five in custody

MARION, Ill. (KFVS) – Five people are in custody after the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office closed a reported drug house.

According to the sheriff’s office, at 11:36 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, they executed a search warrant on a residence located at 13283 Route 37 in Marion, Illinois.

The residence is reportedly the subject of a multi-state narcotics operation which has been the target of a five-month investigation.

During the investigation, evidence of organized drug activity was documented, including significant sales of Methamphetamine to Williamson County residents.
