Windham Philharmonic presents two concerts in May

BRATTLEBORO — Hugh Keelan conducts Windham Philharmonic in Mozart’s Symphony No. No. 36 in C (“Linz”) — composed in four days during a stopover in that Austrian town — and Maurice Ravel’s Rapsodie espagnole at 7 p.m. May 20 at Latchis Theatre.

Five days later, the orchestra heads to Wilmington, to participate in the Red Door Concert Series at St. Mary’s in the Mountains. The program begins at 7 p.m. and includes Mozart’s Symphony No. No. 36 in C (“Linz”) and Haydn’s “Surprise” Symphony. Guest flutist Robin Matathias also performs Enesco’s Cantabile et Presto accompanied by Hugh Keelan.
