Wisconsin’s third Solidcore studio plans to open at The Corners of Brookfield this fall

Brookfield is getting new place to work out.

A Solidcore fitness studio plans to open at The Corners of Brookfield shopping mall in the fall of 2024, according to a news release.

The Washington D.C.-based workout company, which brands itself as [solidcore], specializes in low-impact, high-intensity, strength training.

Solidcore’s 50-minute workout is done on “sweatlana,” the nicknamed custom reformer machine and targets the core, as well as the lower and upper body.

The Solidcore at The Corners will be the company’s third studio in Wisconsin, following Milwaukee and Madison. Construction began in May to build the workout studio in a 2,276-square-foot space near North Lord and Union streets and across from the Sendik’s Home store.

“Our center’s seasonal group workout pop ups attract great interest and with the growth of tenants like lululemon, we know our community loves to take part in fun fitness activities,” Robert Gould, CEO of Brookfield Corners, LLC, said in the release.

Classes at Solidcore vary in cost depending on the membership participants commit to.

According to the Milwaukee location’s pricing, a single class costs $28, while a 10-class package costs $230, or $23 per class. New clients get two weeks of unlimited classes for $69.

As Solidcore comes in, Wisconsin Vision will relocate from its spot in the shopping mall to a larger space next to Solidcore along Union St. The eyeglass retailer will provide in-store telehealth eye exams while maintaining a full-time doctor on staff at the new location, according to the release.
