Woman accused of scamming people through fake photography business
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – A woman was arrested after officials say she scammed people through a fake photography business in Laurel County.
The sheriff’s office says Dakota Mackenzie Burns claimed to run a business called “Kynzie Burns Photography.”
They say she would take payments for services but then never show up.
The sheriff’s office says at least she scammed at least 11 people out of more than $8,000.
Burns was arrested and charged with theft by deception.
