NASHVILLE, Tenn. – – Belmont women’s soccer (6-7-1, 3-2 MVC) prepares for their match against Northern Iowa (7-4-2, 2-2-1 MVC) on Thursday, Oct. 10.
 
Kickoff from the UNI Soccer Field is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT. The match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
 
What’s Bruin

• Belmont leads the MVC with five wins on the road. The last season Belmont won at least five road matches was 2014 with a 6-3 away record. The Bruins are 2-0 on the road in MVC play with shutouts against Illinois State and Murray State.
• Nine Bruins have recorded at least two points on the season. Ava Labocki leads the team with eight points (four goals) followed by Reagan Ross (three goals).
• Sydney Jones ranks fourth in the MVC with four clean sheets, a .795 save percentage and 4.46 saves per match.
• The Bruins are ranked 43^rd in the nation in shot accuracy with a .510 shots-on-goal percentage.

Scouting the Panthers

• After suffering two shutout losses, UNI is undefeated in their last three conference matches. The Panthers earned a point in their last match against Indiana State with a scoreless draw.
• Olivia Knoepfle leads the MVC with six goals in 12 matches. Lauren Heinsch and Maddie Eastus are tied for second with five.
•  Goalkeeper Caitlin Richards set a new season high with six saves against Indiana State and recorded her third consecutive shutout.

• Belmont is 0-3-1 all-time against UNI.
• The Bruins have fallen 1-0 in the last two matches.
