Among the hundreds of remote jobs posted online this week, one stands out.
It offers a salary of up to $181,216. The organization was founded by President John F. Kennedy and could require deployment to the site of an international crisis.
The job is crisis operations specialist for the U.S. Agency for International Development, an independent government agency that provides foreign policy guidance to the Secretary of State.
The low end for the salary is $139,395.
Listed on Indeed, the job entails planning and guidance for humanitarian efforts in 100 countries.
Study of international law and international relations is required as is four years of experience with international organizations, problems, or other aspects of foreign affairs.
The job post says the successful applicant will design and monitor “highly complex program or policy options to international humanitarian emergencies” and lead response teams to international disasters.
Volunteer work through National Service programs such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps may be considered as experience.
“USAID’s mission is to help vulnerable populations worldwide by providing aid when crises occur, rights are repressed, and hunger, disease, and poverty limit opportunities,” the job post says.
HireArt is looking for a head of content marketing at a salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 a year.
“You will own the content roadmap, media mix strategy, and SEO execution — ensuring that our content drives pipeline growth and enhances our market presence,” the job post says.
At least five years of experience in marketing, ideally within a B2B environment, is required. The listing says startup experience is a plus.
HireArt is a staffing agency headquartered in New York City.
Spring Health is looking for an event marketing lead, offering a salary between $127,400 and $165,700 a year.
The New York-based company works with 450 companies to provide mental health care through Precision Mental Healthcare.
Clients include Microsoft, Target, J.P. Morgan Chase, and Delta Airlines.
“The Events Marketing Lead will execute everything from large, tent pole trade shows to small executive experience programs,” the job post says. The job requires five years of experience in event management, collaboration with both internal teams and external partners, and proficiency in digital tools, including HubSpot and Salesforce.
Prison Fellowship, a Christian non-profit, is looking for a controller at a salary between $116,000 and $133,000 a year.
