Time to get tickets to the World Food Championships.

The multi-day massive cooking competition and festival touches down in Indianapolis on Nov. 8, with food vendors, games, contests and live cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs.

Tickets are on sale now, with a buy-one-get-one special through Oct. 14.

What are the World Food Championships?

The World Food Championships (WFC), is a food sport competition at which cooks – from home cooks to classically trained chefs – from around the world compete in 12 categories.

More than 300 cooking teams will vie for a total of $450,000.

Where is the 2024 World Food Championships?

Indianapolis is hosting the World Food Championships at Indiana Farm Bureau Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

When is the World Food Championships?

The WFC will take place Nov. 8-12.

Hours are:

  • 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 9-10
  • 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 11
  • 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 12

Food sampling and other activities at the World Food Championships

The event features:

  • Samples from more than 30 vendors
  • Live cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs
  • Food-related games such as “Cake or Fake”
  • Tyson Tailgate area
  • BBQ activation featuring more than 35 teams and a live fire exposition
  • Kids zone
  • The Fire Woman Challenge  
  • Taste of WFC & VIP Experiences
  • WFC Jr. competition
  • Military salute and Battle of the Branches

Buy tickets to the 2024 World Food Championships

Tickets can be purchased at worldfoodchampionships.com, with a buy-one-get-one offer through Oct. 14 for general admission:

  • Online Pre-sale Ticket: $15/daily or $25/Weekend Ticket (Nov. 9 and Nov. 10)  
  • Onsite Single Day Ticket: $25/daily or $45/Weekend Ticket (Nov. 9 and Nov. 10)
  • Children 5 and Under: Free
  • Monday, Nov. 11: Free admission for veterans and active military
  • Tuesday, Nov. 12: Free admission all day to watch the competition finals and 6-8 p.m. awards ceremony

Specialty ticket options:

  • Taste of World Food Championships: $125 
  • The World Food Championships VIP Experience: $175

10% of specialty ticket revenue will be donated to Gleaners Food Bank, which supports local residents facing hunger and food insecurity.
