Highlights

World of Warcraft has extended the deadline for players to obtain the Embodiment of Shadowflame Drakewatcher Manuscript for their Renewed Proto-Drakes until the end of Dragonflight Season 4. Though this rare mount was originally supposed to be removed from Heroic Fyrakk’s loot table at the end of Dragonflight Season 3, it seems World of Warcraft fans have a few more months to claim it.
In Dragonflight Season 3, World of Warcraft players had the chance to obtain several special mounts from the Amirdrassil, The Dream’s Hope raid. Two of these mounts came in the form of Fyrakk-themed full-transformation Drakewatcher Manuscripts for the Renewed Proto-Drake: the Embodiment of the Blazing and the Embodiment of Shadowflame. The latter is a guaranteed drop from Heroic Fyrakk, which was originally stated to be going away at the start of WoW: Dragonflight Season 4.

June 5 is Going to Be a Big Day For World of Warcraft
Blizzard Entertainment’s recent announcement comes with a surprise for players anxious to experience World of Warcraft’s next expansions.
However, it seems World of Warcraft has changed its mind in that regard. When Season 4 began on April 23, fans discovered the Everglowing Ember, the quest item that awards the Embodiment of Shadowflame, was still dropping. In a recent forum post, WoW community manager Kaivax confirmed this was intentional, and that players will have until the end of Dragonflight Season 4 to pick up this special Drakewatcher Manuscript if they haven’t already.
How to Get the Embodiment of Shadowflame Drakewatcher Manuscript in WoW: Dragonflight
Shadowlands Season 4 ran until the start of the Pre-Patch event for Dragonflight. Assuming World of Warcraft follows this precedent, the end of Dragonflight Season 4 will likely coincide with the War Within Pre-Patch. While Blizzard hasn’t shared an exact date for this yet, many suspect that the WoW: The War Within Pre-Patch will begin on August 20, as it is the day after World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria ends, and a couple of months after the start of its beta testing.
The Embodiment of Shadowflame will no longer be obtainable after WoW Dragonflight Season 4, but the Embodiment of the Blazing should be. This transformation has a low chance of dropping on any difficulty, but a guaranteed one from the Mythic version. World of Warcraft may lower the chance to obtain this uncorrupted transformation of Fyrakk once the Mythic raid is no longer endgame content, but it will hopefully not be removed from the game like its shadowy counterpart.
