World Series 2024 ticket prices falling, but cheapest seats for Dodgers vs Yankees still wildly expensive: Cost for Game 1 and beyond

With just a few days before the 2024 World Series of baseball begins, fans may now be able to get a “deal” on tickets to select games between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees. Game 1 of this best-of-seven series takes place on Friday, October 25 at 5:08 p.m. PT/8:08 p.m. ET at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

• TICKETS: Get seats for 2024 World Series games from SeatGeek | Vivid Seats | StubHub | Ticketmaster. Through a special arrangement, if you are purchasing tickets for the first time through Vivid Seats, use our special discount promo code “Oregon20″ at checkout to save $20 on orders of $200 or more for the event you plan on attending.

As we mentioned last week, the price of tickets to a World Series game have always been extreme. But prices are actually falling slightly in the lead-up to this MLB playoffs showdown. If you are looking to be in the stadium along with Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers as they attempt to knock off Aaron Judge and the Yankees in Game 1 and beyond, here are your best options.

Currently, the cheapest single ticket available on SeatGeek that also happens to be a pretty good value in terms of where you are seated and your view of the field, is located in Section 42 RS, Row AA. This puts you on the edge of the balcony despite being very high up in the nosebleeds. They are the cheapest seats that also give you the best view for your money, and cost $5,250 per ticket on SeatGeek. That’s including all relevant fees.

Currently, the least expensive single ticket for Game 1 available on Vivid Seats and is going for $989 in the upper rows of the stadium along the third base line, which is basically as far away from the field as you can get up in the nosebleed seats along the third base side of the field. Keep in mind, that’s also before any surcharges or “convenience” fees are added at checkout.

If you can’t make Game 1, or would like to hit a game taking place later in the series, you can also view the schedule of World Series games and see if ticket prices are better in the games taking place next week.

You can book travel to the Las Vegas area with Booking.com or Expedia.

If you can’t make the game, you can still plan to watch from home or from a friend’s house, like the rest of us. Here’s what you need to know in order to catch the game live and some tips of how you can watch it for free.
