When the LA Dodgers played their division rival San Diego Padres in the MLB Divisional Round, Padres star Manny Machado told ESPN “This is what everyone wanted.”

Well, this Dodgers-Yankees World Series is really what most fans wanted. The Yankees (94-68) posted the best regular season record in the American League. The Dodgers (98-64) were the best in the National League. To watch these two high-profile heavyweights live in person at Dodger Stadium or Yankee Stadium costs more than $1,000 per ticket.

The highest valued teams with the biggest brands and stars are led by Yankees slugger Aaron Judge and Dodgers 50/50 superstar Shohei Ohtani. The Yankees are MLB’s most valuable team at $7.55 billion, according to Forbes. The Dodgers are next at $5.45 billion.
