World’s largest bounce house returns with new 5-lane Mega Air Space Slide
FRANKENMUTH, MI — The world’s largest bounce house is returning to one of Michigan’s tourism hot spots this summer with a “mega” new addition.
Frankenmuth River Place Shops is once again hosting The Big Bounce America, home of the only Guinness-certified world record holder of The World’s Largest Bounce House, Aug. 8-10.
Standing 32 feet tall at its highest point and covering an area of over 16,000 square feet, this gigantic bounce house features slides, ball pits, climbing towers, basketball hoops and friendly, over-sized characters for photo-worthy moments. At its center, is a custom-built stage and resident DJ, who plays music and hosts games and competitions tailored to each age group.
There’s also a mega new addition this year.
“New for 2024, we’re amping up the excitement at The World’s Largest Bounce House with the introduction of the brand-new MEGA Air Space Slide,” reads a Frankenmuth River Place Shops news release.
“Standing proud as a 5-lane mega slide, it’s your ticket to thrilling races against friends or simply indulging in the adrenaline rush of zipping down over and over again. And that’s not all! We’re going wild and increasing the bouncing fun by adding more regular inflatables, bringing the total count to ten! With endless options for bouncing and sliding, there’s no limit to the joy and laughter waiting for you at The Big Bounce America!”
Michael Zehnder, owner of Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Inc., said the world’s largest bounce house was such a popular attraction last year, they decided to bring it back with the new five-lane slide.
“We invite you to kick your shoes off and let loose for a while,” Zehnder said. “We have the perfect event to allow kids and adults alike to get out of the house, come on over to Frankenmuth, and enjoy an outdoor event like they’ve never experienced.”
The bounce house is open to all ages. Wear your own socks or purchase a souvenir pair at the event.
All-Access Tickets are available online and secure your spot for three hours of bouncing, climbing and fun. There will also be food trucks on site.
Tickets are $34.95 until 11:59 p.m. on July 9. After that, they are $39.95.
