World’s largest bounce house to return to Macomb County in May

What’s billed as the world’s largest bounce house returns to Fraser next month and promoters say it’s even bigger than before.

Big Bounce America visits Steffens Park for two weekends, May 18-19 and 24-26.

How big is the Big Bounce America?

According to press materials, it stands at 32-feet-tall and covers an area of more than 24,000 square feet. When Big Bounce last came through Macomb County two years ago, it measured 16,000 square feet, larger than the size of a baseball diamond.

Noa Visnich, tour manager of The Big Bounce America, said it’s a perfect escape from politics and the economy.

“We need more fun in the world, and what better way to bring that into 2024 than with a 24,000-square-foot bounce house,” Visnich said. “The Big Bounce America is the perfect event for kids and adults alike to get out of the house and enjoy an outdoor event like they’ve never experienced.”

New to the party this year is OctoBlast, a deep sea foam party featuring colorful ocean creatures, colossal foam cannons, and live DJs on a huge stage. (PHOTO — THE BIG BOUNCE HOUSE OF AMERICA)

New to the event is the deep sea foam party OctoBlast. Guests will jump into a world filled with colorful ocean creatures, colossal foam cannons, and live DJs on a huge pufferfish stage, as they dance around a giant Octopus’s tentacles.

Produced by XL Event Lab, Big Bounce America  features seven massive inflatable attractions, including The Giant, a 900-foot-long obstacle course; the customized sports arena Sport Slam; and the three-piece, space-themed wonderland airSPACE.

Inside the bounce house are giant slides, ball pits, climbing towers, and basketball hoops beside friendly,
oversized characters of various colors, shapes, and sizes.

At the center is a custom-built stage where the resident DJ turns up the music tailored to each age group while hosting games and competitions.

Tickets start at $22 and advance purchases are encouraged. For tickets and pricing, go to thebigbounceamerica.com/tour-dates.

Steffens Park is located at 33000 Garfield Road at the southeast corner of 14 Mile Road.
