World’s top-ranked golfer among first to qualify for FedEx St. Jude Championship

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – With the FedEx St. Jude Championship on the horizon, the first names have been announced as competitors for the 2024 event.

Scottie Scheffler, the world’s top-ranked golfer, is set to compete at TPC Southwind on August 14-18.

Joining Scheffler are Collin Morkawa and Wyndham Clark as the first players announced for the tournament.

The FedEx St. Jude Championship is the first of three events in the FedExCup Playoffs. The championship invites the top 70 players in the FedExCup standings, with only 50 advancing to the following week’s BMW Championship.
