Worldwide athletes to compete to be “World’s Strongest” in Madison

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Athletes from around the world will soon compete to see who is the strongest at the Alliant Energy Center.

The Official Strongman Games will be coming to Madison for their world finals, organizers announced Tuesday.

The competition will be held December 5-8 at the coliseum at AEC and will feature 400 athletes from 38 countries.

The games feature a number of different classes based on age, weight class and gender, with the prize being evenly distributed along each class.

Competitors will participate in events like the atlas stones, deadlift, log press and car walk.
