WPT World Championship And ClubWPT Gold $5M Invitational Freeroll Setting Records At Wynn Las Vegas
The WPT World Championship Festival continues at Wynn Las Vegas through Dec. 23, and the ClubWPT Gold $5M Invitational Freeroll is set to begin Dec. 13. The WPT World Championship begins Dec. 14. From No-Limit Hold’em to mixed tournaments, the World Poker Tour is proving to be most popular while setting records at the third WPT World Championship.
That includes in the popular WPT Prime Championship, which broke the record for the largest Day 1 in WPT history with 9,670 entries over four starting flights generating a prize pool of $9,379,900. The winner will take home a top prize of $1.16 million, including a seat to the 2024 WPT World Championship.

The $10,4oo entry WPT World Championship event starts Saturday, Dec. 14 with three starting flights followed by Day 2-5 through Dec. 20. The TV Final Table is on Dec. 21 where the 2024 WPT World Championship winner will be crowned and get their name engraved on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.
Last year’s winner won a grand prize of $5.28 million after topping a field of 3,835 entries. This year’s final six winners will once again win more than $1 million each.
ClubWPT Gold Freeroll
ClubWPT Gold is a new sweepstakes-based platform that will be launching in 2025. The $5 million ClubWPT freeroll is a three-day event that pays out $1 million to the winner. The World Poker Tour has been providing entries into the biggest freeroll in poker history, and offering tons of direct value to the poker community and WPT World Championship Festival.
For the 2,000 winners of a Golden Passport to the ClubWPT Gold $5M Invitational Freeroll, the event is going to be unforgettable. It’s the one-of-one tournament with a million-dollar first-place prize that has ignited the imagination of the poker community as to what could be. Ahead of the Friday night dealine, 30 Golden Passports remain in the drum to be drawn from the 200 total passports.

Three Gold Jackpot winners have been determined, and those players will draw for the top prize of a 2025 Gold McLaren GTS (or $150,000 cash) ahead of the Dec. 15 WPT Gold Freeroll TV Final Table. The two runner-ups will both win cash prizes up to $50,000 from the Ultimate Cash Booth drawing.
The popular Meet-Up Game is Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wynn Las Vegas. Live cash games with WPT ambassadors, poker pros and celebrities plus prizes and drawings into tournaments are part of the fun festivities.
