It’s the sun’s last day in Sagittarius before it enters Capricorn early tomorrow morning. If there’s a feeling you’ve been nervous to express, or a bold favor you’ve hesitated to ask for, use these final hours of brave and honest Sagittarius season to go for it. (But choose your words with care in the early evening, as tension between the moon and Mercury could make things come out wrong.)
It’s not necessarily in your nature to be diplomatic. That doesn’t mean you’re rude, just straightforward. You’d rather risk coming across as a bit intense than beat around the bush and potentially be misunderstood. Sometimes you try to tamp down your bluntness in the hopes of improving your relationships. But today, expressing your opinions too gently or subtly will only leave you frustrated. Right now, honesty will serve you best.
Lately, everything feels harder than it should. The most insignificant tasks seem to require more attention, and even the smallest interactions are draining. You’re doing your best, but you’re worried you can’t sustain this level of effort forever. The good news is that you don’t have to. You’re expending more energy because you’re in a period of growth — even if you don’t recognize it yet. Soon enough, you’ll finally have a moment to catch your breath, and you can look back to see just how far you’ve come.
Some people are practically impossible to please, but you, on the other hand, don’t see the point of being inflexible. No relationship can ever be perfect, so you’ll accept the ones that are good enough. When small disagreements or minor annoyances arise, you let them go. But today, you might find that there are some seemingly small issues that you can’t ignore, no matter how hard you try. So be straightforward — with others and yourself — about what you need.
Once you make a plan, it’s easy to feel like you have to stick to it. Especially if you’ve shared your intentions with others, it can be embarrassing to announce that you’ve gone back on your word. You worry you’ll seem flaky and weak-willed. But sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is to quit when something’s not working out. Today, give yourself permission to walk away if you need to. You know what’s right for you, and there’s no shame in changing your mind.
Sometimes, avoiding a problem for long enough can make it disappear — or at least, seem to. Every once in a while, you find that nobody actually follows up on the work you’ve been procrastinating on, or the interpersonal drama you’ve neglected to deal with ends up fading away on its own. More often, though, the issue only compounds. So today, do the brave thing. It won’t get easier with time, so you might as well gather up your courage and go for it.
You don’t necessarily mind when your days are hectic, but you want some fun alongside the hard work. When your schedule is packed with dull tasks and tedious social obligations — that’s what wears on you. Soon, life will feel exciting again, and you’ll have the opportunity to try new things and meet interesting people. So for now, tend to the boring stuff. By getting everything in order now, you’ll be able to make the most of the adventures ahead.
When you’re down on yourself, focused on your shortcomings and failures, it can be tempting to withdraw. If you’re already in a strange headspace, casual social interaction can seem like too much. But today, connecting with others could be the best way to pull yourself out of your funk. It’s a good day to call an old friend or invite a new one out for coffee. You don’t need to think too hard about it — it’s not that deep.
In general, identifying a problem is much easier than figuring out a solution. When you feel restless and unsatisfied, it’s simple to point a finger at all the parts of your life that aren’t quite working, but deciding what to do about it can feel practically impossible. Lately, it’s tempting to grab at whatever solution seems nearest to hand — but chances are, you’ll just end up flailing around, not making any progress. Today, try to be patient. Avoid making drastic changes for now; the clarity you need will come soon.
Others don’t always see you the way you see yourself, and it can be deeply jarring when a friend reveals that their image of you doesn’t match up with your own. It’s not your fault (or theirs) — no matter how authentically you try to live, or how wholeheartedly they try to know the real you, there will inevitably be the occasional mismatch. But today, it’s possible to be understood. You can say what you need to say, and trust that it won’t go unheard.
It can feel, frustratingly, like all you ever do is learn lessons. Mentally, you know that all the roadblocks and setbacks and confusion will ultimately make you stronger — but emotionally, maybe even physically, you’re exhausted by the constant effort. For once, you wish things could feel easy. Today, trust that the ease you want is coming. While you’ll never reach a point where you’ll be done learning and growing, it won’t be this intense forever.
As much as you enjoy the company of others, you try not to rely too heavily on anyone else. The more trust you put in the people around you, the more vulnerable you become to heartache or betrayal; the more you count on your friends’ help, the more easily you’ll be disappointed. But at a certain point — when your dreams get big enough, or your workload gets heavy enough — it becomes impossible to manage alone. Your support system is probably wider and stronger than you think; don’t be too proud to lean on it.
Before you can make any big changes to your life, you first need to be able to imagine that things could be different than they are now. In this sense, idly daydreaming about new possibilities isn’t a waste of time. But today, make sure you’re not only daydreaming. It’s a good day to set intentions and make commitments to your future self. If you really want something, it’s time to figure out what practical steps you’ll take to get it.
